How to apply for a job with us
Applying for any of our jobs is simple, however please set aside 15-30 minutes of your time before you start your application. All details submitted will be viewed when making a decision on candidates that are selected for interviews.
Key Selection Criteria
Key selection criteria (KSC) are the skills, attributes, knowledge and qualifications that Council have defined as being essential for satisfying the requirements of the job. Responding to KSC is an important part of applying for a position with us and can be found in the position description and also in the APPLY NOW application form.
You will need to write short statements that clearly show how your personal values, knowledge, skills and experience meet each of the criteria.
Include examples from other jobs, experience gained outside of work, or from your formal studies. These should be approximately one to three paragraphs in length and should be expressed concisely.
**It is recommended that you type and save your responses to the Key Selection Criteria in a MS Word document, or similar, prior to completing the online application process. You can then paste the text into the application form when you are ready to submit your complete application.
Please note that for security reasons the system will time out if the application form is open for more than 15 minutes.
